Pancheon bowl with mustard yellow glaze

Very large terracotta Pancheon or Dough Bowl with a beautiful deep mustard yellow glaze.
 
Pancheon bowls were used in many ways, from a simple mixing bowl, milk bowl or bread dough proofing bowl.
 
Glazed on the inside with a mustard yellow colour and unglazed on the outside - there is nothing that says rustic French provencial than pancheon, tian bowls or confit pots.
 
Perfect as a fruit bowl, or centre piece on a dining or console table.
